Tennis Courts
The tennis courts at Kenmore Park, also known as Memorial Recreation Park, are a great place to play tennis with your friends and family. This city park is located on the corner of Kenmore Ave and Mary Ball Street in Fredericksburg and has 7 lighted tennis courts, a basketball court and a tennis practice wall.
The park is also home to 4 new pickleball courts. This sport is growing in popularity and combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong to create an exciting game for players of all levels.
The park has a lot to offer including a dog park, a playground and plenty of parking space. It’s also located within walking distance of everything Downtown Fredericksburg has to offer, making it a convenient place to spend a day outdoors. Playground
Kenmore Park Kenmore Ave Fredericksburg VA is a great place to take the kids to play. Located on the corner of Kenmore Avenue and Mary Ball Street, this city park has a basketball court, lighted and unlighted tennis courts, children’s playground equipment, and even a field to run around on.
The park also has a fully fenced dog space that’s great for Fido to burn off some excess energy. This space features a six foot fence that helps keep dogs contained during their play time. It also has a water feature that will help keep Fido hydrated. The best part is that this space is free of charge to the public. It is open to area dogs four months and older with a current city license. The park has a few other cool things to see and do in addition to the dog park, including a cool looking fountain and some of the best tennis courts in town.
Dog Park
Located off Kenmore Avenue, the dog park at Kenmore Park is an ideal location for Fido to burn off some of his excess energy. It’s fully fenced and consists of an off-leash area to play and socialize with other dogs.
There’s also a poop bag station and trash cans, so you can keep Fido clean as he runs and plays. The park is open from 7 am to 8 pm in the summer, but hours are reduced during the winter months.

The parking lot at the park is located just off of Kenmore Ave on the corner of Mary Ball Street, and it’s free to park in. There are also a few other amenities to enjoy, including a fenced-in dog park for Fredericksburg residents and their four legged friends. The best part about it all is that it’s not too far from home! It’s a fun place to visit, and a great way to get out of the house and see a little bit of the Fredericksburg area.
